  24. Description of the Modification
  25. -------------------------------
  26.  I always fool around Quake C when I have the time. One day I thought about this gun,
  27. noone did it, it didn't kill, it was original. So what the heck, why not make it? I 
  28. started up my computer and worked on it and within hours (3) I had it, along with 
  29. models, and sounds, and having scrambled the whole thing...
  30.  
  31.  Whether you're in a deathmatch, or playing alone, you can use this. You pull out the 
  32. Planter Gun, which has moss growing on it, and it shoots balls covered in vines. When 
  33. you hit an enemy with this, it will "plant" them. While planted, you can not walk, 
  34. jump, or if in water, swim. You can turn around, look up and down, and fire your weapon.

  36.  If you are ever planted in a dark corner or area, don't worry, you glow, so people
  37. can see you and kill you.

  40. How to Install the Modification
  41. -------------------------------
  42. Unzip the zip file into your Quake directory under the folder planter.

  44. then start quake with
  45. quake -game planter
  46.  
  47.  If you want to run a server with this among other weapons and mods, email me,
  48. and I'll be more than happy to give you the source code. If you want to add this 
  49. to a combo file, tell me I'll give you the source. In the future, when I have added
  50. all I want, I will give the source out freely.

  52. Future Enhancements
  53. -------------------
  54. I would like daisies to pop up where the keys go on the bar, I have to learn to edit there though.
  55. I would like a daisy to be on the planted person's head, just to be wierd I guess.
  56. A new Planter Gun model, not just a skin.
  57. A new Planter shot model, not just a skin.
  58. A skin of a player entrapped in vines.
  59. More sounds, and a cool new effect.

  72. I wanna play it safe for awhile, I guess. I don't want some guy taking the code and 
  73. then saying look at this "Doug", he's trying to steal my code, and then this guy
  74. takes credit for lying? You just can't trust some people... But that's not the real 
  75. reason. I don't want to give out a sloppy source code, and I want to have all I want
  76. in first.
